The GameTrailers comparison of the PS3 version to the 360 version is wrong! This video proves it! by just enabling RGB Full Range in Display Settings, the game will look the same as the 360 version.

Q) Is this only for HD displays or can it work on PAL tv’s?
A) I’m sorry but these settings are only work on HDTV’s via HDMI.
Q) Does this work on other games other than assins Creed?
A)It works on all games, some you shall notice a huge difference, others not alot.
I saw a big difference on assins Creed, Turok and some others.
It mainly shows well on Cross platform titles, but exclusives it doesn’t show as much (like Uncharted) Since the develoupers have clearly optermised it for the PS3.

you should only ever use full rgb and super white if YOUR TV SUPPORTS IT. most hd tv’s do not use full range, usually only computer moniters. a properly calibrated hd tv that supports limited range should look identical to a properly calibrated full range hd computer monitor. if you use full range when you shouldn’t, you start to lose detail in darker and lighter scenes. the same also goes for super white. there are tests to see if your tv supports full range rgb available online.

PS3 online is , the menu is bland, to use, compared to the 360 dashboard. When you have friends come online this box just comes up and says so and it even happens when people go offline, like we care. When people on the ps3 invite you to a game you have to either press or no and can waste time, 360 however gives you the choice of selecting it. PS3 online load times take longer, and there are more people online with the 360. 360 controllers actually shake 360 LOVERS PASTE THIS EVREYWHERE

both the xenon(xbox360) and the cell(ps3) processors, developed by IBM use RISC architectures and run at 3.2GHz, but the xenon processor (3cores, 2threads per core) is much better at general purpose pc like tasks (PowerPC processors used by Apple before), but the cell processor is a mess to program (1PPE handles 2threads plus 6 1thread SPE) it doesn’t use 8 “cores” as you ignorantly posted

warhawk doesnt suck at all actually, great game for just having fun. a main reason why cross platform games are better for xbox is cause its designed for xbox then ported to ps3. just because you dont like a game doesnt make it bad, i dont like halo tbh but that doesnt mean its bad, so it doesnt mean warhawks crap just cause you dont like it.

Warhawk sucks and assins creed has technical issues on ps3, other than that right. the 360 just has more games and most the time the crossplatform games are a little better on 360 because more people have that system, so its a bigger market. they made ps3 owners wait a year for oblivion and then sold an almost identical version of the original.

in your world a processor may be a little helper inside the console that “makes things fast” but in the real world memory and graphics card matter just as much. for example the ps3 has less memory. but it doesnt matter, what matters is playing games.
so to choose a console, look at the games! do you like brands like halo, gears of war, mass effect and the optimized versions of all cross-platform titles or do you want heavy rain and the japanese stuff like mgs4?
